Killer Whale
Killer Whale: One of the most amazing sea creatures in the ocean.
A killer whale is a member of the dolphin species; in fact, the killer whale is the biggest kind of dolphin. Killer whales hunt and live in pods. A killer whale pod usually has from six to 40 killer whales in a pod. The older killer whales stay on the outside of the pod. A killer whale can grow up to the size of a school bus, 23 to 32 feet, and can grow as old as 60 to 70 years for males and 80 to 100 for females. Killer whales will eat and kill sharks. Killer whales will dive as deep as 328 feet. Thank you for reading today's post, and have a safe and fantastic rest of your day.
