What is the Midnight Zone

The Midnight Zone: one of the coolest, darkest, and deepest zones of the ocean. The midnight zone is 40 skyscrapers below the surface of the ocean. No sunlight ever gets to the midnight zone. So for that reason the fish that live down there in the midnight zone create their own light that is called bioluminescence. Bioluminescence is a living light source that is created by sea creatures that live in the midnight zone. Creatures such as Dragon Fish, Angler Fish, Shrimp, and even octopods. Bioluminescence can be used for three different purposes. The three purposes are defense, hunting, and mating.
